Program

Why is it that we who identify as female are so damn hard on ourselves? Sometimes harder than others are on us - am I right, ladies?

I was not fully aware of my relationship with myself and it kept me in the dark for many years. Over time, through reading, attending workshops, journaling and doing the hard work of therapy, the awareness floodgates of how I was treating myself opened up.

When you have epiphanies of that magnitude, you have to share it with your fellow sisters.

So, I created Motiv8…

Motiv8: 8 Ways To ROCK Your Own World is a dynamic multimedia-based empowerment program that offers women hope, help and healing through the exploration of 8 key concepts. These tools help us better understand, appreciate and accept ourselves (love comes later). It’s infused with music, videos, interactive exercises and lots of humor, the best way to learn, IMO.

M-O-T-I-V-A-T-E is an acronym, with each letter representing a skill or tool to add to your emotional toolbox. Each skill comes with a rhyming tagline (that’s the poet in me!).

  • "I went to Sheira's MOTIV8 program with my 11-year-old daughter. To this day she hasn't stopped humming Sheira's tunes and talking about the content of her presentation. Sheira is an excellent entertainer and an inspiring presenter. Not only did she motivate my tween, I left with renewed energy as well. Congratulations on creating such a unique program - great work!"

Holly Koenig, Parent, Long Island, New York

  • "Sheira gave a heartfelt and fun presentation to our middle school girls and their moms (and even some dads!). The great value of the program was that the girls and their parents heard and shared together Sheira’s message of coping, in a loving way, with the real stress in their world. Everyone came away with actual tools to help them feel good about themselves and to develop healthy attitudes and behaviors with each other."
